Missed line items, unbilled materials.
Recovered.

RefinishControl dashboard showing vehicles in shop, estimates awaiting review, total recovered value, and materials needing reorder
RefinishControl mobile app, scrollable: items needing attention, materials needing restock, and a revenue overview

From a real demo org, not a mockup.

We track the materials. We lock the estimate. You refinish the car. RefinishControl catches missed billables on your CCC ONE/Mitchell estimate and tracks the clips, fasteners, and tape your shop actually used: one accept/reject screen, not two tools.

CCC ONE & Mitchell exports
Scanning
Scan a tag, it logs against the RO

Two intake paths. One review. Four places the recovered dollar shows up.

The estimate and the materials scan write to independent records: "unified" describes the review screen and the payout, not a merged database. That distinction is what keeps the audit trail real.

Diagram reflects the actual system shape (two domain tables, one review UI), not a simplified sales version of it.

One workflow, three stages.

The same shape your shop already works in: estimate in, materials tracked, invoice out.

01 · Audit the Estimate

Catch what CCC ONE didn't flag.

  • Uploads your finished CCC ONE / Mitchell export (PDF or XML)
  • AI review against a collision-repair rulebook: code-required parts, permits, disposal fees, labor omissions
  • ADAS calibration requirements cited to the OEM procedure
02 · Recover the Materials

Track what actually left the shelf.

  • Scan a bin/tray tag against the active repair order
  • Flags materials used but never billed on the original estimate
  • Anomaly detection for duplicate scans and usage spikes
03 · Get Paid

One review, then it's billed.

  • Accept or reject every flag (estimate and materials) in one screen
  • Decimal-precision quoting and invoicing
  • QuickBooks Online sync

A finalized estimate: line items on the left, materials used on the right, same screen.

Reports, visualized. Not a spreadsheet export.

The Missed Revenue Scorecard rolls up recovered value against what's still being missed (line items and materials both) into a capture rate you can read at a glance, plus the trend over time. Beyond the Scorecard, a full report catalog covers the rest of the shop.

  • Total recovered: line items and materials, rolled into one number
  • Materials flagged before they hit a reorder point
  • Overdue receivables, updated as invoices get paid

Most shops are running two tools for one problem.

An estimate-audit tool that never sees your materials. A materials tool that never sees your estimate. Neither one sells you parts on the side. That's the part that matters just as much as the review itself.

Before you ask

No. You keep writing estimates in CCC ONE or Mitchell exactly like you do today. RefinishControl reviews the finished export and hands back recommendations; accepted items still get entered back into CCC ONE/Mitchell by your estimator. A direct platform connector is a planned v2, not a v1 dependency.

Scanning works out of the box: no setup required to start logging materials against an RO.

No. RefinishControl isn't a distributor and doesn't stock or ship inventory. It tracks and bills what your shop already uses. Purchase-order generation against your own vendors is on the roadmap; RefinishControl itself becoming a parts seller is not.

One plan, covering the full estimate-audit and materials-recovery review plus the back office, quoted per shop during your demo. See Pricing for what's included.

See it against your own estimate.

Bring a real CCC ONE or Mitchell export to the demo. We'll show you what it catches.
